Beat Licensing Information

This page outlines the licensing terms for beats from Jay Elliott’s “Loop Theory” beat tape, as well as any other beats purchased via this site.

✅ What You’re Allowed to Do

• Use the beats in your own music, videos, podcasts, or live performances.
• Release your songs on all major platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc.).
• Monetise your songs without limits on streams, downloads, or views.
• Use the beats in as many different songs or projects as you want (unlimited use).

❌ What You’re NOT Allowed to Do

• You may not resell or redistribute the beats by themselves (as-is or with minor changes).
• You may not claim exclusive rights to the beats or register them as your own.
• You may not use the beats for NFTs, sample packs, or similar resale-based projects.

💸 Royalty Split

A 50/50 royalty split applies to any commercial release using these beats:

• You keep 50% of earnings from streams, downloads, and sales.
• Jay Elliott retains 50% as the original producer.
• Contact me via jayelliott.store or @jayelliott.wav to sort royalty collection (e.g., DistroKid splits, PRO registrations).

You can upgrade to an exclusive license for £500 per beat, which grants you sole rights to the beat:

• Once purchased, the beat will be removed from public sale.
• Contact me directly to arrange exclusive licensing and secure your beat.
